The HYPERTHERMIA IN THE TREATMENT OF CANCER

Breaf History of Hyperthermia
The effect of cure of treatment of heat already was mentioned in the advanced cultures of the old Egypt (2400 B.C.), but only the people of medical trades of the Greek Antiquity used this therapeutic approach, recognized it uniformly and called it on heating (in Greek: Hyperthermia). "To give me the strength to produce the fever and I heal every disease", said Parmenides, the Greek doctor, 540-480 B.C.

The hyperthermia in the cancer treatment
The hyperthermia (called also therapy or thermal heat treatment) is a sharp condition that arrives when the body produces or absorbs more heat than it can disperse. It is of ordinary one caused by the extended exposition to the high temperatures. The mechanisms heat regulating body become finally overwhelmed and incapable efficiently to treat the heat, causing the body temperature climb uncontrollably.

The hyperthermia can be created also artificially by the drugs or the medical devices. In these examples that it could be used to treat cancer and the other conditions. The cancer cells are the cells more of sensitive than healthy heats and their structure reacts differently to the overheating. In 1910 the possibility of overheating to increase the radiance effect on the malicious tumors was described for the first time. This method already known and applied was rediscovered as if called "the hyperthermia of entire body" at the start of the years 60. Since the years 70 a number of studies were run more to examine this therapy form.

The research showed that the high temperatures (until 44° C) can damage and can kill the cancer cells, of ordinary one with the minimal injury to normal fabrics. While killing the cells of cancer and the proteins and the harmful structures in the cells, the hyperthermia can shrink tumors.

The hyperthermia always almost is used with the others form therapy of cancer, as the therapy of radiance and as chemotherapy. The hyperthermia can do some cells of more sensitive cancer to radiance or night the other cells of cancer than radiance cannot damage. When the therapy of hyperthermia and radiance is combined, they often are given in an hour of every other. The hyperthermia can improve also the effects of certain anticancer drugs, that is strengthened mutuelment of this manner and a more probable cure - the so-called effect synergiste of hyperthermia. It was discovered that cytostatic dopes (the chemotherapy substances) clearly the act in an aggressive way to the more than 40° temperatures C than in the range of the temperature of normal body.
